I've been booked at a few events going on around EL Paso, where my poetic vocal stylings will be in full effect! Here are the dates, just a heads up on what I'll be doing throughout September!
EPCC LITERARY FIESTA: A CELEBRATION OF BOOKS, WRITERS AND READERS: All Day Literary Fiesta
Saturday, September 12, 2009
Time: 8:30 AM to 3:00 pm
WHAT: Literary Fiesta, with readings, panel discussions, book sellers, music, food and art. Some of the featured writers at the Fiesta will be Benjamin Alire Saenz, Sasha Pimentel-Chaco, Ysella Ayn Slavin, Daniel Chacon, Lawrence Welsh, Lee Byrd, L. C. Hayden, Robert McGregor, Ray Ramos, Ruth Pena, Mary Mooney, Carmen Gimenez-Smith and others.
WHERE: El Paso Community College—ASC (Administrative Services Center), located at 9050 Viscount, in the Board Room, the Auditorium and the Foyer.
WHEN: Saturday, September 12, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
Admission is free and all events are open to the public.

I'm scheduled to read at about 11:15 AM, which is not too early but right before lunch! We're also going to be at a panel discussion about poetry in the borderland and another panel about illustration in Book Art. On top of that we will have a table in the fiesta showcasing our newest work!

I've been invited to read at the 5th Annual Corazon de El Paso which will take place on September 20th below the infamous Spaghetti Bowl!
